Panel Shop Technician

New Frontier Technologies is currently looking for an experienced Panel Shop Technician. This full- time position is responsible for the fabrication and delivery of industrial control panels for automation systems. Experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Industrial Control Panels
• Read and understand panel layout and panel wiring drawings
• Install, mount and wire PLCs, HMIs, devices, sensors and components
• Wire Discrete, Analog and Thermocouple PLC I/O modules
• Wire 480/240/120 VAC 1-Phase / 3-Phase and 24 VDC components
• Wire Motor Starters, VFDs and Servo Drives

Qualifications

• Industrial Control Panel Layout and Design experience a plus
• Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon or GE Fanuc is a plus
• Experience with power tools of all types is required
• Experience with AutoCAD or other drawing package is a plus, but not required
• Experience with UL-508A requirements is a plus
